Can anyone point me to a source that tells me what the mobile home laws are for putting onto property in Idaho? Something that is NOT written in legaleeze, that a layman can interpret and understand, eg, specific age limits, foundations, etc? Thanks in advance!

When I sold R.E. I saw mobile homes in all kinds of configurations and various states of repair. The regulations regarding size/foundation/age/etc. are generaly specific to local government and subdivision CC&R's. It should be noted that the more stringent restrictions you will run into are often put in place by lenders and insurance companys, not govt.

BTW I would be sceptical of any "summarizing" of that complex legalese in the state law... there's a reason laws have lots of words.

I believe it's 100% dependent on the county. I would contact the county you're thinking about and ask them about this sort of P&Z issue.
