One week from tomorrow we pack the truck and head for Spirit Lake. Seems surreal! Got my house purchased, got my phone and TV and internet and utilities and PO Box set up (for when I arrive, that is), got my new Sorels packed (hee hee), got this house all packed up to leave...now the countdown. Two going-away parties this weekend to attend. I am 63 years young but feel sixteen today! Starting life all over again!

Congrats! I am late to your party, but have enjoyed reading your progress posts lately. I can only imagine how excited you must be with the move finally so close. Please don't forget to write a post-move update including a few more photos for those of us still in the dreaming and planning stage! All the best on a quick, safe, and painless move!!

C'mon up, esselcue! It appears you'll have a very early spring to get you off to a new beginning. Hope everything goes smoothly on your move. Be safe and keep grinnin'!

Your very kind in your response Ess. I wish I could be more like that but then again people like that dont deserve much respect in my book...

Kinda funny thing to complain about too seeing as how the vast majority of people in NID are in the 30-something range with young kids.. I see our older folks as assets not deficits, and there is much to be learned from thier lifes experience.. There's ALWAYS one jerk in the peanut gallery I suppose..
