the High court has already ruled on citizenship and has, in a previous ruling stated that NO STATE[even Arizona] has the right to grant citizenship[hence NO STATE has the right to deny].
Arizona can write all the "anchor baby" laws it wishes to, none...NONE will become law.

All it takes is "Due Proccess" to change the laws.
States have done this all along. It appears that they are going to do it again. I'm surprised it's stuck but good for AZ.
If it sticks it's also going to start a chain reaction like nothing we've seen before. If I was illegally living in any of the States that is proposing these type of laws I wouldn't unpack my belongings.

America isn't the only country that's struggling with birthright citizenship.
Some pregnant Canadians have been transferred to American hospitals due to a variety of reasons. So when the baby is born in the American hospital, the newborn is a U.S. citizen by birthright. Yes, that's right, the baby will not able to hold Canadian citizenship until they go through the process in Canada. Many have went on living in Canada illegally!

What country is an unborn child a citizen of? Someone brought this up on another board: If the child is a person from conception onward, why aren't they a citizen of the country they were conceived in? Are they a citizen of the mother's home country until they're born?

When did this happen? I thought they hadn't ruled on citizenship per se, only on individual cases.
