Will he then be rescinding Bill Clinton's 1996 immigration law? I mean, Arizona's law mirrors this and other federal immigration law. How will he get around that? The 1996 law allows states to enforce federal immigration law.
Obama is a putz.
Seems to me he's got bigger holes to plug at this point and time. Maybe he should worry about other things and let Arizona protect its citizens, since he and his administration obviously have to intention of doing so.

Obama has no backbone and to expect any of his administration or his followers to is silly.
Obama and his followers are getting hit so hard because they are sucking all the wrong asses.
Karma baby, KARMA!
Hillary; no wonder Bill turned to someone else to smoke his cigar.

This was just a probe. They are testing the waters.
Seeing what the response is. Usual politics.

How retarded can this administration and the Fed. Govt get?
They want to sue Arizona over a law they created themselves and choose not to enforce?
Now, AZ wants to enforce it for them and they don't want AZ to.
Who's governing US.....a bunch of whining, immature, little kids?

Let them scramble on it. We'll win.
Brewer nailed it on the head:

But it was an unfortunate way in which we heard today. I was down in Tucson. And to get this information released to me vis-a-vis that they heard of the lawsuit through an Ecuadorian interview is outrageous! It would seem to me that if they were going to file suit against us that they definitely would have contacted us first and informed us before they informed citizens, by the way, of another nation.

How can the federal government sue a state that enacted a law that the federal government should be upholding? The whole thing is non-sense, just like the fact that Obama became president, by some fluke. The guy is in way over his head, has no clue what he is doing. This is what happens when the majority of the population drank the Kool-Aid and thought Obama was going to save us all. The guy had no executive experience and is a radical socialist to boot. The Arizona law was needed to protect the state from the onslaught of illegals, something had to be done by Gov. Brewer, since the federal government was fine with doing nothing.
