Two illegal aliens with criminal records were intercepted for stealing a flatbed trailer from a 82-years-old law-abiding man's property.

The owner protected his property, and is being jailed for it [with 12 felony counts] while the illegal aliens get to roam free in this country illegally!

If you are gonna shoot you better make sure you don't miss. A dead criminal isn't going to sue you or in this case testify against you.

Good luck seating a jury willing to convict him.

If I lived in that area I'd love to be on that jury.

My vote would be an automatic "not guilty."

then the gentelman would surely be facing murder charges.

I dont know Colorado law, or the specifics of this case, but In Texas, one can only use deadly force when their life is in emanate danger. Defense of home and Property, in in the home, when enamate threat to life and property is happening.

whether a person is here legally or not does not make any action by a property owner just.

The D.A. beleived that the Gentelman acted suffiecietly in a reckless manor to charge hime with 12 felony counts. The Evedence in court may show he acted in a totally justifiable manor and may be exonerated.

Sure it does- they are here illegally and should have no access to our court systems and should be able to be fired upon at will when participating in criminal activities against American citizens

I wouldn't place too much merit on the jury, knowing how some frivolous cases turned out.
