A State Transformed: Immigration and the New California | Center for Immigration Studies

Since most legal Immigrants have a decent education, except for hard labor jobs, I'd say this huge plummet in CA is due to Illegal Immigrants.

Your thoughts?

More sorry truths for california. Those of us that are stuck here because of a claim and family know
this all too well. we are in the worst condition. No longer are we the great melting pot, we now are the great burning pot of racial devide. When asimilation was no longer requried is when it happened.
When Regan in 1986 gave the amnesty which allowed all those extented family here it was the downfall
of ca. Even if they closed the border the laws that gives this continous flow of imingrants access here regardless of worth to us has reduced the place to a 3rd world nightmare.

My Thoughts ?

As I was told back in '86, Be careful what you wish for

If you read closely to all of the people now talking about
reform it's just a new name for amnesty

Be VERY careful or this will soon be on a fast track down
our throats like the never ending surprises that are becoming
more evident like in the ObAmA kArE

I was thinking more about this after I posted and I now think what we, as Californians, need to do is put more money into our educational system. Get it to where everyone is speaking Spanish so we all can communicate much better. Perhaps we can offer English in high schools as a second language?

Number 50 and PROUD!

Count me out on the Espanol. I have no need to communicate with anyone in Spanish.

" We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

"English should be the only language taught or used in the public schools."

Theodore Roosevelt 1917

he must have saw this coming

Oh gosh guys, I wasn't serious. Just because I live in CA doesn't necessarily mean I have no common sense.
