ok, upon further research and reading that "article" i doubt the source and validity of this claim. i would like to see the original article from the Reforma. i owuld like to see the text from that front page piece.
i have a feeling that some people are tying this issue (dead migrants) with the past statements castaneda has made... possibly during this debate:
"In a vote before the debate, the audience at New York University's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts voted 43 percent in favor of the motion and 22 percent against; 35 percent were undecided. After the debate, 72 percent agreed that "America Is To Blame For Mexico's Drug War," while 22 percent remained against and 6 percent were still undecided."
Mexico's foreign secretary... pushed... Bush ... to pass "comprehensive immigration reform" legislation.
Wouldn't that make Bush a traitor for cow-towwing to pressure from a foreigner?
I always thought and still think Bush was a disaster regarding our border. That does not give the sitting president a pass to do even worse. Obama is dangerously close to not protecting the borders of his own country. Where will that take us?
america is not in charge of mexico's internal affairs, they are. it is mexico that needs to deal with its employment not us. we got problems of our own. everybody keeps telling us their problem is ours.
