If the ex housekeeper was using her own car I wonder if she was duly registered, licensed and insured for same? If she wasn't that would be another felony or two........

Of course we know she, like so many others, won't even be charged. It constantly amazes me how these admitted criminals can "go public" with absolutely no consequences yet we are supposed to swallow the constant media stream of "sob stories" about how the illegals fear to come "out of the shadows".

Does anyone think they couldn't fill this job for 23 an hour with a legal worker? What a crock.

There will be no lawsuit according to Allred. Just a claim with the Wage and Hour Division for unpaid wages. How much is not clear. People that work for agencies have their employers sign off on the hours worked periodically. Did she present a slip to Whitman that Whitman refused to sign because it showed more hours than Whitman thought she worked? If she didn't, she doesn't have much of a case.

I think the $23 per hour is what the agency charged Whitman. They probably took about $8 per hour for themselves, leaving the criminal illegal alien with about $15 per hour, which is a reasonable salary.

For house work? I believe that is more than fair compensation. For house work in Mexico? That's what, two hundred an hour as an equivalent?

No - she wasn't a "temp" working THROUGH the agency. If that had been the case then the AGENCY would have been her employer, not Ms Whitman. She was a permanent hire - the agency simply collects a one time fee for her placement with an employer.

It seems this is the way "poor Nicky" is planning on proceeding....

Interesting information on the T and U-visas........

Quote:
The USCIS has stated, proudly I might add, that they have reached the 10,000 per year cap on ‘U visas’ and still continue to accept new applications because the department faces backlogs with such applications.”
Both the “T and U visas” are routinely granted with little or no verification of the facts and ICE often conducts no interviews of the applicants let alone an investigation to determine if the allegations are made by foreign nationals against U.S.
