Tell that to the Mexicans and Mexican Americans who continue to be loyal to Mexico even while living here. I don't consider expecting our government to enforce its laws and for foreigers to respect them as being overpatriotic to the point of asphyxiating oneself in the American flag. How bizarre.

It isn't about retaining cultural foods, etc. from the old country. That isn't the problem. It is about what country and what country's citizens they remain loyal to. Yes, they should learn to speak English and study the constitution. You have a problem with that? The same applies to immigrants no matter where they are from.

The biggest problem are those legal immigrants and worse who are citizens of this country that remain loyal to the country and citizens that they were formally from.
