I would be willing to bet the farm, if the majority of illegal aliens were Haitian, we wouldn’t hear a peep out of Janet or her ethnocentric organization. If anything, she would probably spearhead a nationwide campaign in support of ending Birthright Citizenship. After all, she did request a moratorium on immigrants from Africa.

Quote:
“These thoughtless and unnecessary proposals take our country in the wrong direction, away from inclusion and our other core American values,” stated Janet Murguía, NCLR President and CEO. “The citizenship clause is a bedrock principle of civil rights and part of what makes us all Americans. Never in our nation’s history have we amended the Constitution to take away someone’s rights and we should not do so now.”

“These proposals are inflammatory. Those seeking to decimate the 14th Amendment know that their attempts are constitutionally dubious at best, but they are definitely irresponsible and divisive, guaranteed to make many of our fellow Americans suspect in their own land.

Absolutely, Benicar! If the majority of these illegals were anything other than Latinos we wouldn't hear a peep of advocacy for them nor objection to changing our birthright citizenship requirements out of the NCLR or their constituents. They are so very transparent in their motives in regards to illegal immigration in every way. Yet we are the racists?

Actually, more to the point they think that trying to remove them after they get here is wrong and immoral.

Absolutely! La Raza has opposed EVERY measure intended to curb illegal immigration or enforce our laws. Only those living in a remote cave are not aware of their stance.
