Why shouldn’t they try to enter the US? We have advertised to the world that we’re the dumping ground for the illiterate, impoverished, and disenfranchised from every nation. Come one, come all. . . U.S. taxpayers will support you, and all who complain will be vilified.

Not only that but the "dry foot" rule has been in force for decades now. Time to revisit the rationale behind that I think.

Giving one particular nationality a "free pass" for arriving illegally has gone on long enough.

Totally agree. No one including Cubans should be able to enter our country without permission and then allowed to stay.
