ACLU threatens to sue Georgia over immigration bills; first hearing on bill to get under way *| ajc.com

They are trying to ensure the invaders cannot be removed at any cost. Just make it across whatever means necessary and the ACLU will make sure you can live off the tax payers in peace.

Illegal Immigrants are not invading okay. While I think that something should be done to stop illegal immigration, going around calling them "aliens" and "invaders" is pretty poor way to change things.

The LEGAL term for non citizens or foreign nationals in this country IS "aliens". Sorry you don't like the term but even legal immigrants are called "resident aliens" so whether you like the word or not is irrelevant.

How about "illegal immigrants"? That's the most neutral term there is for them and is the best way we can tame our passions over the issue and get to actually doing something about it in a reasonable manner.

So in order to have what you term a rational discussion on this issue we're to gloss over their breaking the laws of this country with euphemisms so they and their advocates "feel better"?

Sorry, but it is what it is. Learn to deal.

“The arrogance displayed by the Mexican government is absolutely breathtaking,” Golick said. “The Mexican government has inappropriately injected itself into a debate where it has no role, and its suggestion that we are wrong to seek to enforce our laws is an insult to every law-abiding citizen of Georgia.”

Illegal Aliens from ANYWHERE are breaking the laws of
The United States of America !

Sanctuary Cities are another issue

As long as the murders, rapes, kidnappings, ID theft, and credit fraud is happening to everyone EXCEPT our elected local/state/federal officials, their family members, and close friends -- illegal Entry into the U.S.A. is officially NOT A PROBLEM.

“This is just the latest example of why the ACLU has become completely marginalized as a tool of extreme left-wing causes,”

"Fathom the odd hypocrisy that Barry Soetoro (a.k.a. Barack Hussein Obama) wants every citizen to prove they are insured, but people don't have to prove they are citizens."

"Illegal immigrant" is not a politically-correct euphemism. It's what they are. It means that they moved to this country illegally.

Illegal immigration is hardly neutral given it's cost financially to the taxpayers, the abuse to our laws, and the duplicity of many of our elected officials who pander to non USC. People are getting fed up. Many of us are passionate about a return to laws being enforced as opposed to removed for the lawless.

Reasonable manner? We've all been telling the Emperor he's wearing no clothes -- he doesn't listen.

The more appropriate and lawful term is illegal alien. It is what they are. They aren't immigrants. They are foreingers that moved to this country illegally.
