This is how Mexico has operated for decades, one of the most corrupt third world countries ever known to man.
You don't do anything down in Mexico without having to pay the local police off, and if you don't pay them off you get the sh*t beat out of you or worse.
My sister-in-law had all her jewelry stolen from her luggage by the local Mexican airline baggage handlers.... Another time she and friends were eating in a restaurant and two armed men came in and held up everyone taking their money/watches and jewelry. When she asked about the robbery she was told not to worry, it's a normal occurrence.
As can be seen by the invasion of America by our southern neighbor they have no morals other than to bring misery anywhere they go, anywhere they live.....
We have laws on our books to stop these illegal alien invaders, our government is just unwilling to enforce the laws.... (but they sure are hell-on-wheels when you are late paying your income tax).
Adopt more laws? why? to give the bleeding hearts and their lawyers more cases to tie up the American legal system?
You know what plwhit how true what you have stated. I have very good mexican-american friends who are down in Mexico all the time, think they care down there that if your Mexican American you won't be touched or bothered, think again.
I knew of someone who was in a terrible terrible crime down there, don't want to talk about it, they accuse you of something down in mexico, watch out even if your Mexican Ameican they don't care.
The police are so corrupt they will accuse you of something, and watch out what happens in the jail cells, i can go on, but choose not too.
