With Al Quaida still plotting to kill us we can't afford Open borders.

With our economy in the toilet we can't afford open borders.

Any country helping their citizens enter the USA illegally should be sanctioned.

what we should do is deduct from their foreign aid they receive from us the cost of deporting their citizens.

Well, thats kind of telling when they have to warn their people against doing what is obviously an accepted normn in theor country!

Regarding the original question...

To deny LEGAL immigration to those who are honestly trying to do it the right way would not be fair.
