Very good suggestion. If they truly love the USA more than their other country, they should get in line with other worthy immigrants.
And why does everyone think that none of the anchor babies would choose their other country if they were sent home with their parents and raised there? There are people in Mexico who very much love their country and would not leave it, it's very possible some of the anchor babies would grow up loving Mexico (or whatever other homeland), and would not ever want to leave it for any American money.
Not only that but most would be taught the culture and language of Mexico through their parents so it wouldn't be hard to adjust.
Mormons would never? So that blanket statement somehow is evidence? Mormons would never slaughter other Christians, but they did. The colony in Chihuahua is still there and practicing away. His father was here illegally as far as I can tell, that's why he aborted his Presidential run when the subject came up
Oh, then he is an anchor baby. don't worry, words can be redefined. Romney will be easily made exempt from being called the anchor baby that he is, simply for being white. it probably wont even be mentioned, because IOKIYAR.

They should apply for citizenship at 18.
It makes no sense to have them as automatic citizens against their will.
There is no essential difference between being a Mexican citizen and a Mexican national. Besides, if there is a slight difference it would easy for them to gain full citizenship through their parents. Cite, please.
I'm still waiting for "malamute" to list the laws of all those countries around the world, I get back to you after I see that...
"Nationality" is different than "citizenship". When someone wants to reference something about nationality, they should say "nationality". Please try to be a little more correct.
If I'm not on your "ignore" list yet, I need to try harder...
I think the parents have the option of keeping their children and taking them home with them or abandoning them -- it's incredible that so many of these people threaten to abandon their own children if deported. That is crappy parenting.
I'm sure they don't see it that way. better an adopted child in the u.s.a. than a child of poor parents in third world countries where education isn't free, roads are hardly paved, Corporate air is barely breathable, and there is no chance your child will be able to achieve much in a world stage dominated by non-third world countries.
Google the history of the Romney family and you will find you are wrong. Nice attempt at the race card. You will be yet another one on my ignore list.
really? in what way?
