An illegal immigrant who won $3 million on a lottery scratchcard is to finally get his winnings after he was allegedly swindled out of the prize by convenience store workers.
Atif Ali, 22, Riaz Khan, 45, and Mubeen Ashraf, 22, are accused of telling the winner that immigrants cannot claim lottery prizes and that if he tried to collect his winnings, he would be deported.
The man will now start receiving installments of his massive winnings after the District Attorney said he is entitled to the prize under law.

A foreign national can by lottery tickets. Canadians do it all the time. The man won. How he got here, nor his legal status have nothing to do with the out come of the lottery.
The fact that scum bags tried to cheat him only illustrates why chosing such a path is ill advised.
