Whatever happened to the supposedly new open borders and elimination of all immigration laws and requirements in Mexico?

Wasn't the open borders crowd just telling us how great Mexico was, anyone from anywhere no longer had any restrictions at all there, everyone has all the same rights as Mexican citizens there, can go to school free, use hospitals without paying and take jobs?

Correct me if im wrong, but, doesn't Mexico have
some of the toughest imigratiion laws in the world ?

I would be willing to bet thier "open borders" depend
on how many men & AK-47s you came with.

Mexican's can do a lot of fun stuff, if you a,- work for
aCartel or b,- are willing to leave your head (in a box)
behind..

Where are all the pro-Illegal La Raza/Latino/Hispanic groups on this issue???

Maybe they're silent because there are no freebies to be had.

Actually they do but that open borders proponents will insist it does not. They claim Calderon's new immigration policies make it very very easy for anyone to move to Mexico and that Mexico offers all it's government programs to any foreigner moving there, and allows illegal immigration but in reality that isn't the case at all.

Mexico did clarify it's immigration laws so that returning and deported people can easily bring their families home with them, and it has done something about the rights of Central Americans because of some of the recent cases of slaughter of migrants in Mexico.
