Tucson, Arizona – Jacob Avila-Perez, 28, was sentenced to 51 months in prison for re-entry of a felon. After he has served his sentence he will be formally removed from the United States and will be ban for life.
When an illegal alien is caught illegally entering the country by the U. S. The data base is called the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS).
When Avila-Perez was scanned officers found out that he was convicted for aggravated assault on a peace office in Arizona and given 3 years’ probation to be served in Mexico and was deported.
Shortly after being deported Avila-Perez came back to America he was arrested with re-entered to the U.S. illegally. He was charged with felony misconduct involving weapons. He was sentenced and served one year in prison for violating his probation and 2-1/2 years for the misconduct charge. After Avila-Perez served his time he was deported again.
On April 23, 2011 Avila-Perez reenter the country thru the port of entry at Nogales Station in Arizona and was detected by (IAFIS). He was arrested and charge for re-entry of a felon and he will serve 51 months in prison and will be permanently ban from entering the United States for life.

If he was an American he'd be forced to wear some type of monitoring device. Our only hope is a better border.

It should be a felony on the second entry.

If the Border Patrol deports the illegal alien "Formally" then reentering the second time is a felony. The government doesn't uphold its own laws. We have to fix that.

The border fence is an expensive mess! It so porous an elephant could make it through with ease in some areas. We have to press the government to complete the fence and guard it and deport the illegal aliens already in the country.
I'd like to see the government empty out the jails and prisons since 1/3 of the inmates are illegal aliens. But they would be back over the border in no time and then they would be on our streets killing Americans. Border security is a must or they just come back and cost us more money and wreak havoc!

The United States also, has the right to strip citizenship from legal immigrants for crimes if they want. All we need is a President with some guts and vote out all the old cronies in Washington D.C. and put some real Americans in those positions.
