They came here illegally, supposedly work and pay taxes (how is that, they are illegal), and raise a family. Nobody wants to split them up. They get deported and take their kids with them.
No more anchor babies, just being born here does not an allegiance make.
It's not fair to all the people that worked so hard to come here legally, and play by the rules. The illegals cannot be rewarded - that will just encourage more.
He also required a clean record - these exceptions get muddy. What if they have some misdemeanors but no violence?
No, we need to enforce the law. If we incarcerate an illegal for a felony, we should make Mexico pay for their keep, then deport them. Mexico needs to be punished for aiding and abetting this criminal trespass. The illegals send home a lot the money they make here - which only serves to keep the people from revolting against their own corrupt gov't.
If it were up to me, I would arm the mexican people, so they'd have a fighting chance to defend themselves against the banditos.

Except for that last sentence of your post, claud, I completely AGREE. What is the Law for...if you don't enforce them? - Insane justice (no justice) system!!

So far, just wait until the media tears him apart for his multiple affairs and personal life.
Gingrich will fare much worse than Cain and will be old news soon.

He has a point. You can't expect to kick people who have been here for 25 years to pick up and leave. They are members of their communities. They have children and grandchildren here. Members of the church. Extended family and friends. He called the Republicans out and told them to basically practice what they preach when they claim to be the party of the family.

See, that stuff is old news. Nothing new. Nothing juicy. No surprises. I don't see it as an issue.
The 24% polling for him at the moment already know his past and drama and still support him.

Cain's stuff was old news/non existant BS. Gingrich's stuff isn't old news for the under 30 crowd.
It will be an issue of hypocrisy on Gingrich's part as he was an outspoken critic of Bill Clinton on the Lewinsky stuff.
Also he cheated on his first wife WHILE she was battling cancer, so he's far from the "moral" character he pretends to be.

This post is ridiculous, you might as well say you can't expect people to be held accountable for their crimes or actions.
BTW it is NOT seperating families as they are free to go with them. There is no need to apprehend them at home. Job site raids and traffic stops will do.
What next ??? Are you going to claim rapists and murderers are part of their comunities and have kids so they're above the law also ???
Republicans AND Democrats that don't enforce the present immigration laws should be called out and held accountable.

He just said it tonight. The polls haven't caught it yet. And it is Iowa.
