Most of the pro-illegal immigration/La Raza crowd call him a racist, so he must be doing something right to **** them off that badly.

I will say no. I would rather see someone like Ron Paul who has an understanding of many different issues. Not to say Tancredo doesn't, but he hasn't shown it on the big stage. Ron Paul has a grasp of economics and health care since he's an M.D. (don't know if he practices that anymore). Then again, it really doesn't matter on issues anymore, seems like whoever has the biggest wallet wins (golden rule theory).

Depends on who he is running against. Paul would be my #1 pick, Bob Barr is someone who i'll listen too (I voted for Him), Jindal is another possibility. Right now, it is too early too tell. Heck, i've been critical of Obama during the election but if he does a decent job turning around this economy and we dont see an amnesty i might find myself voting for him.

I think he is a good man. The sad thing I heard was that Obama's bailout package will give illegals money whether they paid taxes or not. I hope the Sentate member with some comon sense will shoot this package down and take out some of the silly pork.

That depends a great deal upon what happens between now and 2012. When things get REALLY bad, people tend to vote for ANYONE who promises relief, and they don't always ask a lot of questions, either.

On the other hand, who knows? Maybe things will be great, and I'll vote for Obama then...if he still wants the job.

We'll see.....

I can't vote because there are too many variables at play. While I passionately view illegal immigration as a high priority problem the US is facing, it is not the only one. And god knows what the situation will be in 2012.
I did like Tancredo and I can say that I would be open to voting for him. Truthfully, I would vote for him above Barr whom I did vote for. Ron Paul would be my top pick though.

No.

This guy seems like he's against ALL immigration. I disagree with many things this man believes in, including: his stances on abortion and gay marriage, his vote against the renewal of the voting rights act, his remarks and views of the Muslim world, and last but not least, that Mass Immigration Reduction Act. This guy is too extreme, but I'm not surprised so people in this are in favor of him...

I will say that he has the right idea on Medical Marijuana (unlike many in his party).

I have never been a ‘one issue’ voter, as evidenced by my vote for Obama. I wasn’t impressed by Tancredo, so I don’t believe I would vote for him. However, who knows what will happen between now and 2012.
