Well, thankfully President Obama is actually doing his job.

More illegal immigrants deported in 2 years under Obama than the entire 8 years of Dumbya Bush's failed presidency.

The mere fact that the US Senate treats illegals as if they are a "minority group" of American citizens, and is putting laws in place for illegals, says there is something very wrong with the system.

There should be one law: if you are in this country illegally you will be deported. End. Of. Story.

Crime number:

1: In the country illegally;
2: Driving without a license;
3: Driving without insurance.

Add to the aforementioned the illegal probably cannot read or speak English and thus cannot read the street signs. At the end of the day, I guess they have to severely injure or kill someone before they actually get deported.

Stopping them at the border and turning them back also counts as deportation. Even President Obama said the numbers are a bit deceptive.

Obama's deportation record: inside the numbers - CNN

"The statistics are actually a little deceptive," Obama said last month during a discussion with Hispanic journalists. There has been "a much greater emphasis on criminals than non-criminals." And "with stronger border enforcement, we've been apprehending folks at the borders and sending them back. That is counted as a deportation even though they may have only been held for a day or 48 hours."

Obama's uncle was driving drunk in MA last summer. He's been in the country illegally for decades.

I would think it is time for the Senators that voted for this law to go ! I guess they don't understand the oath they all took when they took office.If they don't have to follow the laws on the books then how do they expect all of us to follow ? "Do as I do not as I say"

This is ridiculous. An illegal should be deported if found driving without a license and liability insurance and certainly for the first DWI.

It's amusing to see you guys get worked up over a Dave Gibson piece, when he doesn't have any journalistic background, and really doesn't know what he is talking about...

A DUI can get an illegal alien into ICE custody, and they could be deported from a single offense...

The legislation is defined towards Legal Permanent Residents, and what offenses that can effect a deportation or qualifications to naturalize....
