Benefits of illegal immigration (illegal immigrants, laws, wages, how much)

So our country couldn't survive without illegal immigration? If so, then why do we have immigration laws in the first place? We have been over and over this countless times. Illegal immigration is a big fat negative when you pit so-called lower costs against their social costs that are taken out of our taxes and the loss of American jobs and the lowering of wages for what scarce jobs there are for Americans. Uncontrolled population growth via illegal immigration and dilution of our culture and language are other negative factors. Nothing "illegal" is a positive.
You need to wonder why their own countries are so eager to be rid of them. If they benefitted an economy, their own countries would try to keep them. The whole benefit of illegals is lowered wages, more costly welfare programs, and it solves a large social problem for the sending nations.
The cost of food in this country has gone down significantly since the 1970s, when large-scale immigration (legal and illegal) to this country began. How much of this change is due to cheap labor vs agricultural technologies is anyone's guess.
Lots of legal people unnecessarily collect food stamps. And section 8 vouchers are not readily available to illegal immigrants, or anyone, really.
There is definitely a cost on social programs from illegal immigration, but what would the cost be to effectively remove and prevent the immigration of illegal people? There was a thread here stating that the annual cost to the state of Indiana from illegal immigrants is about $116 million. I think that actively fighting illegal immgration for a medium sized state like Indiana would cost about as much... and still not come close to eliminating the problem.

CA doesn't do much about it and right now the Cities are dropping like flies to BK. Granted, it's not all of the illegals fault but most of the States dollars go to social service and pay. Most of the money goes to the children of illegals but unless you are one of those chicken vs egg types it's hard to not see the problem. No illegals = no kids of illegals.

Ok Lets give you the one positive. Lower food costs.
Negatives: Im not going to sit here and type for 2 hours. But some are they are criminals of the law, they go to our hospitals and we pay for it, they turn nice towns into dumps, and are involved in tons of hit and runs, robbery, all kinds of violence.
