Illegals demand more tax payer benefits (Representatives, illegal immigrants, law, represent)

Less than a month before Election Day, demonstrators in favor of the Maryland Dream Act rallied to show their support for the law that would allow illegal immigrants in-state tuition rates if their parents have paid taxes and they've attended local public schools. Opponents of the act call it wrong for taxpayers in the state who are already struggling financially.

Why should we have to pay for people that don't belong here?

That's an excellent question.

We don't reward the children of citizens who choose to live outside the law. So, why should we reward the children of illegal aliens? Are the children of illegal aliens so special that they deserve better treatment than the children of citizens?

Perhaps the illegal sympathizer's will explain the difference.

Americans have been very generous, but you can't be generous with people who want to milk the system by entering illegally.

They shouldn't get it, they don't deserve it, but they will get it. Wait and see. IN the meantime an american child in Florida that wants to go to Kansas state will still have to pay out of state tuition..

This will be fiercely opposed in November. Despite being a sanctuary state, most Marylanders do not support this. After our pandering so-called representatives passed this BS, we had more than enough signatures to force a referendum. It will only pass through fraud. Illegals already have DACA. If that isn't good enough, too bad.

So the parent(s) would have to prove they paid taxes........hmmmmm, would they have used a stolen or fake SS number? If it were to pass, the parent(s) should be required to submit 3 years of income tax returns to see if they were getting refunds and if they were claiming 16 people (kids, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, mothers, fathers) in their home country. And before the beginning of a school term, the previous year's tax return should be submitted.
