Last month's elections in Utah should raise concerns for moderate non-Hispanics in both major political parties who think that they are going to be rewarded by Hispanic activists if they support legislation that benefits illegal aliens.

Utah Hispanic activists have clearly demonstrated that they will suffer "useful idiots" who support their cause only until such time as they can be replaced. This should be a lesson to those who believe the future of the Republican Party depends on its willingness to pander on the issue of illegal immigration.

This is exactly what many of us have been saying. But, pro-illegal panderers from both parties will have to learn the hard way.

Yep, these useful idiots are digging their own graves. They will be thrown under the bus once the dust settles.

I found this very interesting. . .

At the time of her nomination, Robles had close ties to many of the highest ranking officials in Mexico. In fact, the perception was that she working closely with the government of Mexico to increase Mexican power and influence in Utah and the United States.

Wow, so CIS is framing this up as actually being about ethnicity...

How surprising...

What part of this was untrue? Are you denying the fact that despite their extreme pandering to illegal aliens, the non-Hispanic candidates were replaced by Hispanics? And, sadly, for many, ethnicity seems to trump all. In fact, I would be willing to bet the farm, if Obama could run again, even after his shameful pandering, DACA, new policies for deportation, etc, he would lose to a Hispanic candidate.

How convenient for CIS: If the Hispanic candidate wins, claim Hispanics are ethnically motivated. The "pro-illegal" non-Hispanic politician winning is supposed to show Hispanics favor illegal immigration.

And, in reality, what percentages of those voters in Utah are actually Hispanic?...

CIS is deficient in their reasoning skills, but not above pulling a cheap shot...

Reagan gave the illegals a big amnesty, and Bush certainly pandered for their votes, Romney also -- and it sure did not convert the hispanics over to the Republican party.

As usual, you criticize CIS without offering anything to counter their claim.

I think time will tell. Watch how many panderers are eventually replaced after they serve their purpose.

True. Reagan amnestied 3 million. Yet, they threw Republicans under the bus.
