Don't understand why would we agree to amnesty for illegal immigrants (Mexico, Americans)

There are plenty of people that lived here already that would have taken those service jobs...the illegals just drove the wages down.
This nonsense about 11 million is a damned lie...it's more like 20 million +..use your head and your own eyes...Is there any little town in the USA that does not have illegals working?...Do the math. They are all over, and in the big cities by nearly a million in some of the larger cities.
The Republicans and Democrats are whores...they will sell themselves for a vote. They are destroying this country. Yet many continue to vote for the same lying idiots.
Many of the illegals are good people. But let's face it, they broke the law, and should not be rewarded.
What about the honest people from all over the world that have been waiting years,a nd spending thousands of dollars on lawyers to get in here legally?
You want action and change...Start going to the monthly meetings at your local political party, and start opening your mouth. If enough people start participating, there will be change - Throw out the old leaders.
If you registered as a Republican or Democrat, you are a member of that party, and have a right to go to the meetings and to speak up.
Or you can sit here in fromt of your computer ever night, typing your opinions and be happy with the 6 or 7 people that might be reading it.
Forget about rewarding the criminals and punishing the law abiding immigrants for a second.
Many of you complain about low end jobs going somewhere else and government spending. Once those 11 million uneducated illegal immigrants get amnesty, whom do you think they are going to compete with for low end jobs?
they will also be eligible for government welfare too!

Excellent post ! It is so heartening to see someone else speak the truth about the number of illegals in this country. Any fool knows it is more like 20m and the pro illegals figured they would go with it when people started saying 11m.
When ever there is an amnesty given in the following months there is always a spike in illegal immigration. It happened in Spain, in Italy and in France that I know of. So a general amnesty is not the way to go.
If you don't like illegal labor, then prosecute the people hiring them: jail time and fines. The moment it costs more to hire an undocumented worker than a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant, the problem will stop immediately.
Because so many Americans have become liberal minded and keep voting for two parties, who really don't care for the citizens or the country. Maybe one day they'll realize when they're being terrorized by illegal/anchor street gangs.
Because you guys like to keep your food costs low by allowing farmers to employ cheap illegal labor.

Yes it appears the ones who actually followed the law and have been gong through the process are suckers. Just like the folks who paid their bills and watched as folks who took on mortgages they knew they couldn't afford were bailed out by HAMP programs and the like. The same folks who caused your home price to go underwater because the housing market collapsed and the ones who did the right thing are the ones holding the bag. So it goes in a democrat controlled America. Winners are losers and irresponsibility is rewarded.
