Forget about rewarding the criminals and punishing the law abiding immigrants for a second.
Many of you complain about low end jobs going somewhere else and government spending. Once those 11 million uneducated illegal immigrants get amnesty, whom do you think they are going to compete with for low end jobs?
they will also be eligible for government welfare too!

But they vote overwhelmingly for Democrats and that is all that matters.
By taxing the rich and voodoo magic the Democrats will make everyone equal. Now that doesn't mean equal to the standards we enjoy now. It means we will all suffer together. |

No, people don't complain about low end jobs going somewhere. They complain about good jobs going somewhere else. I tend to agree with your post, but the types of jobs immigrants compete for are the not the types of jobs that are being offshored. It's jobs in the service industry that immigrants compete for while it is jobs in technology and manufacturing that are being offshored. Those are two different problems. |

This entire issue is about keeping Democrats in power. They want the votes they know they will get.

Unions should be fighting this amnesty, but they are silent. I guess they think the Obama payoff money will never stop.

Because the number of people who believe in the feasibility to deport 11 million people is less than those that dont.
As to you point of competition for jobs...Do you believe that 11 million people are in a state of animation waiting for amnesty to go to work? Dont you suppose these folk are already in the workforce?
