While immigrant advocates plan waves of demonstrations and other events in coming weeks to keep pressure on Congress to introduce a bipartisan immigration-reform bill as soon as possible, they say they’ve learned from past mistakes when their protests provoked a backlash....While acknowledging the issues with previous demonstrations, advocates also note that the marches, during which Latino immigrants chanted and carried signs saying, “Today we march, tomorrow we vote,” set the stage for years of voter-registration drives that eventually led to the strong showing by Latino voters in last year’s presidential election. The growing political clout of Latino voters helped give immigration reform political momentum that didn’t exist in 2006, organizers say.

I love it when illegal immigrants and Latino voters expose their agenda for all the country to see. It just opens up the eyes of sleeping Americans.

Only let those people that have IDs march and holler in the streets.....We do things a little different here and not have riots in the streets like they do in Peru etc.

Let those crooks carry on with their "2006" demos; it'll just make MORE people mad at them.
