Another reason illegals should be deported and to screen potential immigrants for highly infectious diseases and viruses.

Germs know no borders or immigration status. Early colonist brought with them a whole host of diseases with them. Humans tend to do that. The only way to build resistance is through exposure.

Why screen legal immigrants?

No they don't but legal immigrants are screened for diseases while illegal immigrants are not. How many Americans should be exposed to disease and die until the resistance factor kicks in? The best form of deterring disease from the populace is to screen it out in the first place.

When my ex was getting his green card, he had to be screened for TB along with other infectious diseases. This is but one of the reasons why I am so vehemently opposed to illegal immigration; illegals are a threat to public health.

Hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of people come into this country every year. Vistors from all over the world. None of them are screened and any one could have a whole host of diseases. A two week stay here, and back home doesn't protect you or others from being exposed. Even Americans traveling abroad can and are exposed.

Keep out whom ever you wish, just remember diseases are not a "whom".

TB was once almost complete eradicated from the USA. It was a third world disease.

Then we need to demand that anyone coming to our country whether to visit or otherwise provide us with a clean bill of health first. With illegal immigrants that isn't possible. Is that really that hard to grasp?
