I did see a small bit of info reported on the news, both liberal and conservative stations; but they sure didn't have much to say about it. That was disappointing.

I really thought for once Americans could organize and make a statement to our Government that would bring the spring back in to the American peoples step. However when 8 people show up in a State of hundreds of millions to protest, I feel we are doomed.

I feel the same way. I am now more angry at the American people than our government and the MSM. I guess we get the government and media we deserve.

Autumn, Where did I see 8 people out protesting on Friday, Route 18 in NJ. I know about it because I was one of the 8 and one of the 5 over 12 years old since one guy brought his kids.

I don't know if the name of the protest turned people off, I actually LOVED the Make them listen part. Perhaps they could have left it at enforce our existing laws and constitution vs against immigration reform amnesty. I will say my observation was 50% of the people supported us, 40% no reaction what so ever, 9% gave us the finger and there was one really really angry man.

Default Keep up the vigilance...for the "bigger picture"!!!

Great posts and information, everyone! I see we've even recruited a few new posters!!!

Why the absence of news on these protests? Multifold reasons...
1. Slant
2. Same reason for the silence on the border news, from the border agents, etc....the order comes from the admin. to "squash" it.
3. Individual protests might have been to "small" to be newsworthy
4. Perhaps Fox wasn't notified in time...
5. A myriad of other reasons.

I think these were just grass-root "testing" protests. I'm hoping a massive protest and march on Washington is next! Get all of the protestors who participated across the country (and more), and publicize a huge protest in DC.

There's no way the media can ignore that.

I urge you to write to your local Overpass groups, and the Alipac.us group to organize a huge protest. They should couple it with a massive writing campaign to "letters to the editor" of local and national newspapers, as well as a similar campaign to the state senators and reps. Then, of course, to the major news outlets.

This is a massive undertaking, folks. Especially considering the oppressive "tide" of the "O" administration who is demonstrating their "big brother" tactics. Think about it...has any other administration been so controlling and oppressive on the media? On the citizens? They've threatened people and agencies for gosh sakes...including the border agents, and people involved with caring for these illegal "kids" crashing our border. Even prevented photos and video from being taken!

We're experiencing something yet unprecedented in our democratic history...a government that is leaning towards an Authoritarian regime with its eyes on a Totalitarian governmental institution.

"O"'s flippant attitude, his refusal to visit the border, his arbitrary rule and authority thrown around at his will and personal whim without adherence to our Constitution should be raising red flags across the country!!!

He has demonstrated unfettered authoritarian power through his patronage cronies, networks and coercion, rather than through the other arms of our government and established institutions...not to mention through the democratic process, nor listening to the opinions of our citizens!!!

Alarm bells should be ringing!!!!

For the life of me, I cannot believe WHY our journalists have not performed their "duty" of investigative reporting (except maybe for Sean Hannity), and try to address these concerns...especially about the worrisome focus of this administration's authoritarian approach...especially from the vantage point of the silence imposed on the Border Agents and the strange and huge influx of these illegals at this time.

If any of you are journalists, investigative reporters, or know of any, I'd ask you to press them to pursue this angle!!!
We do have some writers/authors among us...without identifying who you are, would you consider beginning an investigative angle with the intent on publishing it???

We are doing some of it here, by amassing articles and references from what we're reading, along with posting first-hand experiences of what we're observing. KEEP IT UP!!! Maybe between us all, WE can do this!!!

Something very strange and troubling is going on here...there's a "bigger picture" than just the problem of this recent influx of illegals and criminals, and it has to do with the admin's covert handling of it all.

What are your thoughts???

thanks, and keep up the vigilance!!! I appreciate you all carrying this thread forward during my "down" time...still dealing with grief and the business end of my mom's death.

I appreciate you all VERY MUCH!!!

Ok, I was just wondering if it was one of the media's usual lying scam stories,'under-reporting' the true crowd number. Sorry to hear what you encountered, but not in the least surprised. The apathy of the American people is EXACTLY how our POS government became what it is now!
