From KVOA Tucson......"The beacons allow migrants to push a red button that calls for help in the case of an emergency. The Border Patrol says the beacons help save the lives of migrants who get lost in the desert or wander too long. The beacons are 30-feet-tall and solar powered. There are now 32 of them in the Tucson sector, covering most of southern Arizona."
Shouldn't we be trying to discourage the illegals from sneaking into the US ?
This is like rolling out a red carpet and a welcoming committee.
Just make it to a station and press a button - we will bring you water !
Granted, illegals are dying trying to cross into the US illegally, but everyone of them knows by now it is against US law and there is the possibility of dying.
Instead of a beacon and a button, how about a permanent barrier that keeps all illegals out of the US.
China built the Great Wall, and we build beacons !
Oh My Gosh, what more can we do for these people? Mexico wants them out of there so badly, they are the ones who should have put the stupid beacons up. I bet Sheriff Joe is having a fit about this! I bet if he had control of them, and put them in pink clothes and make them work, there would be some lawsuits against him for humiliating them.

They know it's against the law, but they don't care. Come to the US, and the illegal alien butt-kissing so-called president will force the American taxpayer to fund everything for them.
The fact that they die crossing is NOT our problem. It's Mexico/country of orgin's problem, but they are not about to warn them of how dangerous it can be to cross miles of hot desert after the sleaze coyotes drop them off God knows where.
We have to foot the bill to take care of those who almost die crossing, too. Talk about adding insult to injury.
Yes, it sounds hard-hearted, but dayum, people! Isn't there a limit to the crap that we as Americans have to tolerate?
Is there no end to this stupidness? Obama has made that very clear. He was adamant in his orders not to deport anyone crossing the border. He made sure his friends would be OK, by taking away ammunition so the BP couldn't shoot anyone. And, made sure everyone in the world knows it, so they can come over. I'm sure that everyone knows that terrorists are crossing the border. We hear it nearly every day on the news talk shows. Supposedly, the terrorists are being watched. WHAT? They should be rounded up and put in jail for their plotting to kill Americans. They have warned us that they will attack again, and that next time a lot more people will die, and they are just watching them?! Not to mention they are recruiting kids over here. Gangs are recruiting our kids; Terrorists are recruiting our kids, and we're watching them?!
I recommend watching this news talk host on Fox . She is one of the best ~ Judge Jeanine Pirro. She calls Obama out every day. She doesn't shy away from anyone. You can look her comments up on her facebook.

I'm wondering if we can find out where they are located.
Sounds like we need to figure out how to build some landmines and plant them around the beacons.

Find a illegal alien and ask them !!
