Mule, not a donkey. Read the article again. Who was in charge during the interview--the police or the fictitious Juan Valdez? Is the entire story a spoof of the entire "legal vs. illegal" situation? What the heck is "wet foot, dry foot" all about? You gotta read the article carefully!

Are you trying to make a point about "wet foot, dry foot"?

Wet foot/dry foot is a casebook example of the dangers of letting a minority opinion lobby control national policy. The policy exists for one reason only: Angry Americans of Cuban extraction in South Florida with enormous influence and voting power in a key electoral state.
