Maria Esperanza Diaz Ruiz had expected to pay a smuggler to get across the U.S.-Mexico border. Then she learned the Biden administration’s new program would let her walk in for free, as long as she had a tale of woe from back home.

She’s one of the migrants who’s taking advantage of a new Biden policy that’s converting illegal immigrants into legal “parolees,” giving them a work permit and a foothold in America, according to the Center for Immigration Studies, which observed Ms. Diaz Ruiz and others coming across.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...comes-would-b/

Come one come all and it doesn't matter what bogus story they make up Biden will let them in. We've become the doormat to the world. It truly saddens me.

These people lie like a rug. Why didn't she seek refuge somewhere else in her own country or a nearby country? No, instead she was going to hire a smuggler to get her into the U.S.

Well, I won't explain why they are coming here, as everyone knows no other country has the red carpet rolled out with a "pot of gold" at the end of the red carpet.

I keep hearing the liberals want the taxpayers to give them free healthcare, free college, free daycare, and a monthly income whether they work or not, and they are the ones that want to import these economic illegal aliens into the country. They do not realize that they are "shooting themselves in the foot", as by the time we fund the lives of these economic illegal aliens, all but the wealthy will have much, much less than they have now.

They are letting these people in the country, and they know NOTHING about them, nothing about their backgrounds.

I refuse to call them "asylum seekers" as they are "seeking" exactly what the illegal aliens are seeking, and once they get ingrained into the country waiting for years for their "hearing", they won't show up, and they will be officially "illegal aliens". I just hope we can get a decent POTUS, Senate and House in 2024 to try to mend the damage being done at this point.

Oh, boo-hoo! What makes these Hispanic people so much more deserving of "asylum" just because they can get to the border. Look at Africa and Asia at the suffering of these people, add many in Eastern Europe, yet we are pumping tons of money into these Central and South American countries, and their poor and criminal are invading our country.

The voters asked for this. Also, did we really need to overturn Roe? The Dems feel empowered now.

Amazing how clowns on here are espousing how Hispanics will save the Republicans. After the election, why do you suppose they’re opening up the gates. SMH

Immigration in the modern context is really mostly based on one malady; Greed. We have a huge population. How are we not going to make it without throngs of more people(wink wink corporate conservatives).

What does Roe have to do with this issue and it wasn't overturned it was just returned to the states where it belonged.

Hispanics (except for the Cubans) will never vote in any significant numbers for the Republicans as they like the socialism and promises of amnesty of the Democrats.

Yes, greed is in play here but it's not only conservatives that hire illegal aliens.

In the short term the action against Roe has caused a lot of damage. We are in an especially critical time where we cannot spare a minute more.

There’s one reason many Hispanics in So FLA vote Republican. Hispanic racial/economic characteristics there are unique to the rest of the nation. I lived there for some time as well as other heavily Hispanic areas of the country. If you think it is all about ex-socialist governments they pay lineage to, think again. South Texas is clearly due to geographic location and the hell on earth they have to endure due to significant open border politics.

Greed is everything in this country. It’s not just Republican business employers involved here. It’s nearly the entire business lobby. More labor for any sector equals more available labor in all the others. Not to mention, providing cheap workers for business elites personal needs like home and child care maintenance. Don’t forget the additional CONSUMERS which benefits the entire business community. “Million pound elephant”, Glory. Nothing less.

My curiosity is peaked because I wonder why the business community thinks this will not come back to haunt them, when the Republican Party will be relegated to the shadows like they are in California. Unless they feel confident that they will just completely buy off the Democrats, when the time comes. Or maybe they really are buying into this mantra that Hispanics are really becoming their new bread and butter. Lol

Funny how their making sure the rest of the Western world goes down the same road we are.

Probably why so many non-Hispanic Americans are moving to Latin America. No difference any more.

The SC ruled on Roe based on the Constitution what has that to do with the Republican party? Those Hispanics with roots from south of our border like the socialism of the U.S. as it's different than the type they had in their home countries and as I said the promises of the Democrats of amnesty for their illegal amigos here and there you have why they vote Democrat.

What's the Republican party to do, embrace socialism, open borders and amnesty to gain the Hispanic vote? If those aren't the reasons that Hispanics overwhelmingly vote Democrat then what is the reason? The Republicans would be fools to buy into this nonsense that Hispanics are turning to them in any significant numbers.

You get it. Our economy would suffer without this cheap labor. It is a valuable commodity. You want to cut off your nose to spite your face by feeding into the hate? Big business says nope, so do the politicians that don't want to tank the economy.

Our friends have a restaurant. They've been looking for a manager for months. Keeping kitchen staff is also difficult. The pandemic closed the border for quite awhile and now we see the effects.

Let hungry people work. Give them Visa's and regulate them better. No politician will ever fix illegal immigration.

You've got to be kidding me! This so-called cheap labor isn't so cheap after all when you consider the over $100 billion a year that they cost the taxpayer. It's only the greedy employers who benefit from then. Our economy does not need illegal workers. They have stolen jobs from Americans by working for less. What does hate have to do with any of the above? I get tired of hearing that lie from you pro-illegals!

It's not only big business that hires illegal aliens either. They are more than likely hired by small, family owned businesses. If a business can't find American or legal workers for a fair rate of pay then they need to go out of business. There are far too many restaurants and other low paying jobs on every corner anyway.

No, we should not give these poor, uneducated and unskilled illegals visas! They would be a fiscal burden to our society as they do now in regards to their social costs and create more overcrowded conditions than they do now. Think!!
