First the 'charges' stemmed from false accusations claimed by the mother of the 'crackhead father' of the girlfriend.
The supposed 'father', Hines, just coincidentally had happened to turn up in a hospital after nearly dying from ODing on crack, and he and his mom worried about getting into a fight over custody of the kid because he and his mom were clearly worried about him being shown to be 'unfit'.
The 'father' had tried out the unfit argument with his mom before while he and the girlfriend were living in New York.
The mother of the supposed father made the false accusations.

All charges against any of the people involved concerning the claim she 'sold' her baby were dropped.

I really hope you're not talking about the protests, cause I was here, and I know EXACTLY what they were really about. I don't think hanging out with Rocky and Bullwinkle up in Alaska gave you and idea of what was going on here.

The actions of a few doesn't reflect on the whole group. The problem is some people are so willing and eager to group ALL undocumented immigrants as immoral, murderers etc. When a LEGAL immigrant commits a crime, we don't lump all other legal immigrants together and call them murderers , criminals etc do we?
