Quite true. I've been there many times and see mostly Teenagers working there. I guess thats why their service is so slow and can't get the orders right even though they only have a couple of items on the menu.

I went to many In and Out's when I lived in Southern Mexifornia and never had less than a pleasant and expedient experience. Perhaps they don't take you seriously?

I only go to In-and-out with my parents only since I don't drive yet, and not taking adults seriously? then they musn't take anyone seriously. Every time we go it is congested with long lines, crappy orders and slow service. I'd rather go to Wendys. Plus their burgers are much to small, but too big to have two .

They have only a couple of items on the menu as a deliberate marketing issue - I'm not surprised you don't know that though - btw - they have had the SAME menu items since they opened - seems to work, doesn' it?
And, they have all ages working there. And, as one who goes to In and Out, I have yet to get a wrong order
OTOH, at other chains that have been known to hire illegals, the orders are frequently wrong -

Maybe when you get old enough to go by yourself, you will get better service
