The elites who run things in Washington and the corporate world want illegal immigration to continue. That's why they never do anything to stop it, including so-called conservatives, who really only deliver lip service to the issue, but then concede to the Democrats at the last minute (after much political drama to make it look like they are fighting the Democrats on the issue)

The corporate world benefits enormously from having cheap labor within the US that can be exploited for sub-par wages, no benefits, no retirement fund, no workman's comp, no labor law oversight, and the greed of the illegals to be a part of the "American dream".

It doesn't matter who we vote for, every politician who is able to run is financed by corporations who know that if that politician wins, he or she will keep the corporate interests as the top priority. In other words, all our politicians are funded, bought, and paid for by corporations who operate in a fiscally conservative manner that ensures their continued profits. We have no true representative of what We The People actually want to happen, because money is more important than anything else in our country, and because corporations will not donate money to the campaign fund of a politician who would not in turn act as an agent for the corporations.
