Sheriff Joe Arpaio announces a new operation to combat crime in a large area of Phoenix. Hundreds of volunteers will join the Sheriff's posse that will patrol the area between 16th and 40th streets and McDowell and Indian School roads. The area being patrolled is known as a popular area for day laborers and the sheriff says illegal immigrants will be arrested.

Sounds like a winner to me, ArizonaBear.

Constant hammering at eliminating the incentives is the best way to encourage self deportation (read: GO HOME)!

Uh huh! Methinks it is working......

In fact; yesterday when I was driving around the Central Ave corridor, what struck me was the obvious depopulation of stereotypical Mestizos (Latinos) compared to even 3 months ago. One huge telltale is the dramatic decrease of pickup trucks with the names of Mexican states emblazoned across the back glass.

We need all the positive press we can get from Arizona. I heard on the news last night that Kansas is considering enacting similiar anti-illegal alien measures. Of course, the nay sayers were on TV pleading for the cause of the illegal aliens. "They" think we need to do an "Impact study" before moving ahead to enforcing law. *sigh*

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is living proof we have all the laws on the books we need to deal with the illegal alien invasion. He should be put in charge of this on a national basis.

I love Sheriff Joe. Wished he were the Gov.

We have also noticed a decrease in "landscapers" here in Peoria.
