I came across this article this morning: Report: Every Deported Illegal Household Saves Taxpayers More than $700,000 - Breitbart

Cheap labor for who, not the taxpayers.

Load 'em up and ship 'em out. You figure, they couldn't make it in their own country so came here illegally to help themselves to what we have worked for and the benefits that were meant for OUR citizens.

Yet the pro-illegals claim they are a boon to our economy. Then they go on to claim that if we legalized them they would be paying taxes, etc. They are low wage earners and they would then qualify for all sorts of government handouts to subsidize their income. Not only that but if Americans were to get their jobs back from them they in turn would be paying taxes but at higher wage which means more taxes in our coffers. There are no good economic reasons to legalize illegal aliens. They all need to be deported.

The economic benefits illegal aliens bring to this country are far surpassed by the costs they bring. Therefore it is a net drain, not a benefit to our country. Trouble is, any analysis done by the leftists exaggerates the benefits, and does not cover all the costs.

The irony of course is that cheap labor helps the business owners, and those are typically the type of people leftists despise.
Big agriculture for example is part of the "greedy corporate capitalist structure" that progressive rail against. However they do not seem to mind too much when it comes to illegal aliens, because it potentially serves their own needs.
That being potential voters who will vote democrat because they will mostly be un-educated, thereby low wage earners(legal or not). That is the perfect type of person to try and unionize, and make dependent on government handouts.
Both are prime recruiting tools of leftists, which will mean democrat voters.

You're absolutely right. One thing that seems hypocritical on the part of the lefty liberals is as you said they rail against corporations getting rich and supposedly not paying their fair share of taxes. Yet they want them to be able to keep their cheap, illegal slaves via an amnesty which only makes them richer.

I tend to think of illegals being a drag on wages for low income Americans. But this raises a good point I never really thought of before - legalizing millions of illegal aliens could costs massive amounts of money in welfare programs, not to mention other things like schools.

THANK YOU for bringing this article to our attention.
