Should an adversary of ours be allowed to come here ONLY for the purpose of spewing out their babies and gaining US Citizenship? These families are probably the future spies for Russia.

Unlike many "illegals" these people cannot claim economic hardship, political persecution or other hardships. Not "give me your tired and poor and huddled masses yearning to breathe free", but "give me your Commies, your Oligarchs, your Godless masses yearning to topple the USA and the West".
There is nothing illegal about foreign tourists coming to US with a B1/B2 visa to give birth as long as the future parents can provide proof to DOS and CBP that they can afford for the medical expenses.

Do you think the illegal immigrants from central America coming here for economic reason can afford $20,000-$100,000 delivery labor expenses? The tax payers will be paying for that

IMO, there should be no birthright citizenship for children born from foreigners that are not "legal" residents of this country and I don't care who they are. As been discussed in here numerous times it's merely been a PC policy that has deemed them so not based on the actual wording of the 14th Amendment.

Economic hardship is not a viable reason to claim asylum in our country either. That poem on the Statue of Liberty said to come through the Golden door not the back door like a thief in the night and without permission. No poem negates our modern day immigration laws anyway.

I agree. I remember Trump tried to get the ball rolling on this, but then some judge blocked it. I also think to protect the culture of this country, everyone working a government job has to be a second generation natural born American citizen. I'm appalled that the likes of Arnold Schwartzenegger and Ilhan Omar can hold major political offices and not be natural born citizens of this country. What's stopping Russia, China or some other superpower from putting a trojan horse over here to gain power into our political world? It's just plain stupid that as a country, we allowed this to happen.

This is what is happening now.

Trump burned the banks so much that he had to go overseas to get money, now he is in bed with them.

I do agree that birth right needs to be amended to meet modern day threats.

"Deportations split families a part".

Can anyone tell me which people a country should deport? Aren't most deportations going to split families? Do you only deport single people with no kids?

Actually, there is no reason the whole family can't go back to the deportee's homeland with him/her. Even their kids who are U.S. born can go with him/her. So where's the split families problem?

You can always take your kids with you.

There's no law that says your kids need to stay in the US if you're deported. And even if there was such a law, it's not like the law means anything to illegal immigrants anyway, right?

But there is no need to take them with you. And it is in the kids best interest to stay here. So most of the kids older than 5 or 6 are going to stay with relatives or friends. And they likely qualify for welfare as their family has abandoned them. So the friends or relatives get payments to help offset the cost of the kid.

So in fact the cost of the children likely goes up when you deport the parents.

When the child is 2 years old, ICE officers find the parents are illegal aliens, and a judge rules that they must be deported to the country they came from.

What happens to the 2-year-old child?

And whose fault is it?

The illegal alien parents knew before they came in, that they were breaking the law and were subject to be deported for it, by law. Yet they decided to have a child on U.S. soil anyway.

Why did they put this new child into such a situation? What were their plans for the child in the event they got caught and deported?

The child is a U.S. citizen, and ICE knows they have no grounds to deport him.

Do the parents take the child with them back to the parent's country? Or do they leave him in the U.S., with relatives or good friends or etc.? It's the parents' choice and no one else's.

If they decide to leave the child in the U.S., who exactly is responsible for "breaking up the family"?

What had the parents planned to do with the child in the event they (the illegal-alien parents) were busted and deported?

Did you see Tom Homan on Capitol Hill today?

He mangled AOC and those worthless breathless idiots.

They plan to stay here and do what they want. They think their children born here will be the reason they can not be deported and held accountable for their crimes. The children should not be separated from the parents so they get to go with the deported parent.
