A vehicle carrying 14 people flipped and killed at least five undocumented migrants during a chase involving Border Patrol Agents in south Texas, News 4 San Antonio reported.

The SUV reportedly crashed off Highway 85 in Big Wells, Texas.

Twelve immigrants were ejected when the car crash. Four died as a result.

Five people were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center, including the driver who is believed to be a U.S. citizen. He is currently in custody, according to News 4.

Four more were transported to local hospitals, News 4 reported.

Footage of the scene showed a charred Chevrolet SUV and several law enforcement vehicles.
