Every one of the jobs you mentioned have always been done by Americans for a fair wage. As for fruit picking there are unlimited visas for legal, foreign pickers because it's not a career job for Americans and is only seasonal work. My ilk? I wasn't even born back then but my ancestors were the Germans and Irish that you mentioned and they along with the citizens of this country helped to build this country and regardless of any sentiments against them they came here legally through Ellis Island not illegally! The American citizens at the time weren't just sitting on their porches sipping tea either!

Anyone who wants legal immigrants to come in reasonable numbers that we can provide jobs and resources for without it negatively impacting our own citizens is viewed as a hater, racist, xenophobe, etc. by the liberal left. If you object to illegal immigration and want our immigration laws enforced you are viewed in the same way. If you want those from known terrorist countries vetted better or turned down you earn the same labels. WTH is wrong with these people?

There are lots and lots of thing legal and illegal that are not covered by The Constitution.
It would also close most poultry plants and stop produce from being picked. These are jobs that Americans won't do. The poultry plants in my area offer some of the highest wages and best benefirs in he area, but Americans won't do a job where they get dirty.

Americans certainly will take jobs in poultry plants. Who do you think worked those jobs before we got infested with illegals? Americans did them and they were paid enough to propel them into the ranks of the lower middle class. Once illegals infested the country and became a dime a dozen, wages got depressed, safe working conditions deteriorated and benefits declined. When GW Bush was president, a Swift packing plant was raided in CO and Americans lined up that very same day to take those jobs.
As for produce not being picked---pure BS. Farmers have an agricultural visa program that they can use. This visa program has no caps on it. Farmers who use this visa program don't have problems getting their crops picked. It's the sleazy farmers who refuse to use the program and instead opt for cheap, exploitable, illegal labor are the ones who have problems when there are crackdowns.
I doubt too many illegal immigrants would take the risk to register to vote, even if they could. I would assume most of them want to keep a low profile, and don't care much about politics to begin with.
They do if they are blackmailed into it by the leftist organizations.
