This is Mexican culture, not American culture. If Americans like the clean look of solidly painted buildings and walls, that's up to us. But it's interesting to travel to Mexico and see all the colorful walls, fences, sides of houses and other buildings.

Grafitti started almost as soon as spray paint did. Blacks, whites...doesn't matter. You rarely find someone over 25 spraying grafitti, it's the kids. But their ethnic background doesn't matter.

Yeah, graffiti IS everywhere, we even get it down here in the town I live in, it's like a running battle -- one day the graffiti "artists" have a go at a wall, the next the owner is painting it over, a week later and the graffiti is back, but then the owner....
I'm pretty sure it's a conspiracy supported by the paint industry, you know how rotten big business is, and this is just another example that is a fact .
