I can't figure out why the GOP, who control all 3 branches of govt, can't do anything? They don't need the Dems, as they have proved with their Tax Overhaul. Is it incompetence? The hardliners and moderates within the party can't agree on something?

Or impotence? GOP has historically not been willingly to go after employers, the reason why illegal immigrants want America.

Are a little of column A and column B?

Pretty much the same as their counterparts. Like a bunch of bull calves. They get up there, but don't know what to do about it.

I think it's unreasonable to expect the Republicans and their leadership to be 100% on the same page with illegal immigration enforcement, while expecting 0% support from Democrats.

I think it's more of a case that some Republicans are impotent because or at least they believe their electorate doesn't or won't strongly support immigration enforcement. And the other Republicans are bought and controlled by business interests.

I don't think Republicans like Mitch McConnel and Paul Ryan are incompetent as much as willfully elitists.

So impotent and corrupt maybe.

60 votes needed for cloture in the Senate. There are not 60 GOP Senators.

Shouldn't Americans already know that?

I couldn't vote on your poll because you didn't include obstruct by democrats on each and every issue. Foot dragging by both houses democrats is the real reason...Every thing including the tax cuts didn't get any worthwhile support from democrats. In fact the democratic leadership has already stated they would try to raise taxes higher than before Trump's tax cuts.

Very few Trump nomination for Cabinet and/or judicial positions are supported by democrats. Democrats are now the party of 'no' on almost every thing put forth by republicans.

You do know it take 60 votes in the Senate on most issues? And its was Harry Reid who used the Nuclear option to get jugdes thru the process with a simple majority vote...didn't you? So democrats have no one to blame but themselves.
