Ohh we certainly have them. LV is about 40% Hispanic. But here the illegals are lost in a vaster population of legals And no one recruits them. The unions are very sensitive on the issue and they keep the non union shops honest. None of the big employers want to get caught with any significant illegal employees.
So you have agricultural industries dependent on the illegals. We don't.
Our illegals work in construction crews which are mostly legal...and in all the ugh jobs...janitorial, dish washers etc. But virtually no significant corporate direct employment.
People in the group were seen with MS-13 tattoos. Hard working gang members.
Why would the ag industry depend on illegals since we have unlimited visas for legal, foreign workers? Just as we suspected there are some M-13 gang members within this caravan.
Would like to see someone post numbers on how many appear to court when their court date arrives and how many of those win their claim.
Interesting isn't it how those who sympathize with these people feel the need to refer to them as "brown" people as if that has anything to do with our objection to them crashing our borders. If these were thousands of other people I would still feel the same way. The race card is alive and well.

'm getting to the point where I think we should make an incursion into Mexico and take control of a limited area on the other side of the border. An independent country should have control over its territory and can't be blind to incursions into the U.S. emanating from its territory.
There are several precedents: Pancho Villa in Mexico, and Israel's response to guerrilla attacks emanating from surrounding countries. Jordan, in September 1970 expelled the Fatah guerrillas when Israel's retaliation reached into Jordan.

What if this caravan was thousands of Russians. White, conservative, Orthodox Christians, fire arm loving, traditional marriage, anti LGBTQ, conservatives. Would liberals still welcome them with open arms?

I can't presume to know the opinion or view of the other members here but as far as myself...I would feel exactly the same way. Get in line and apply for citizenship through the appropriate channels. Same reply, different day.

I wonder how other countries would feel about having a "caravan" of migrants approach their borders under these circumstances.

Well Angela Merkel was perfectly happy to allow 1,000,000 into Germany, presumably to be passed on to other countries, especially the U.S. Australia, under a Labour government, did similar things but in lower numbers. Trump did off-take 50,000 from Australia but no doubt Obama/Clinton secretly agreed to take far more.
