Specialized equipment trailers allows the army to deploy concertina wire (razor wire) at the rate of 76 meters per minute. That's a mile every 20 minutes. Special trailers deploy wire, which is not handled by humans until it is retrieved. Concertina wire can not be cut be normal equipment.

Videos available.

Should help out a lot. Especially since all of those refugees want to use the legal system anyway, right?

Heck of a lot cheaper than a multi billion dollar wall that can be defeated with a ladder.

Tough on wildlife though.

It is.

But it can be easily removed and redeployed, so there is that. One source says they have 122 miles of wire available, and by using drones and so forth they can anticipate where it will be needed and get it out there.
The trick is to stop infiltrators before they get to where they must be apprehended. Make them turn around and go back and get in line.
I wonder if the Mexican Army would like to buy some wire for use at the Guatemala border? They could have used it!

So I assume the illegal aliens are going to be funneled to a checkpoint and then they'll all claim asylum even though none of them should qualify? I just hope they are not released into the country to never appear for their hearing rejecting their asylum.

Leave it alone for an hour and you will swiftly find it can and will be cut. It is simply spring steel which is easily cut. If you have someone patrolling it or get it out of easy reach it may be defensible. But in the open it is hopeless.

Looks good though.

The good walls cannot be scaled with a ladder. The last one that tried broke both legs.

Ity is amazing how you continue to work a line after it has been demonstrated false or irrelevant.

No Illegal Aliens do not cost over 100 billion a year.

And no the last guy to try and scale a US border wall did not break both legs.

In fact he probably did it carrying 80 lbs of marijuana.

We are forced to educate the non-English speaking children of illegals and that is expensive and takes resources away from the English speaking children of American taxpayers.

Illegals take away housing for Americans. And we have millions of homeless people and also Americans struggling to find affordable housing.

Illegals willing to take undesirable jobs allow employers to get away with not increasing wages.

Then add in the costs of healthcare for illegals who end up using our ER's to treat their medical issues.

Illegals also suck up legal aid resources in their efforts to stay in this country.

The fact is, the illegals in this country cost the taxpayers billions of dollars.

And it really annoys me that the majority of illegals never bother to learn English. Every notice when some illegal that has lived in the US for over 20 years is interviewed by an journalist for tv needs an interpreter to translate their words??? And the same goes for all of the people in the current caravan that is traveling towards our southern border. Not one of them has prepared for life in America by learning English.

And this is one of the main reasons why I don't want illegals in America. There is just no effort to assimilate. And I don't want to hear Spanish from my co-workers while I am working. These Central Americans need to just put down new roots in Mexico instead.
