Hawaii repealed the law in February. Maine has it provisional to those with green cards. New Mexico only allows it for those with green cards, and the issue will be on their ballot in November for repeal, Utah's failed for renewal in 2008, and Washington only allows it for those who can pass a driving test in English and have a green card. There is no state that allows it for ALL aliens.
And by the way, California voted to ban drivers licenses from these states considering them to be invalid because of who they issue them to. Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Massachusettes, Michigan, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Minnesota are all also considering those who have drivers licenses from those states above get provisional ones from the states listed before they can drive on their roads proving their legal citizens because they dont recognize the states' licenses who are allowed for illegals. Montana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Tennessee, Maryland, Oregon, and Rhode Island are considering similar laws.
And it wont be long before there is a national drivers license to put this dumb idea to rest. Illegals should not be on the roads.

All of our ancestors to this country came in illegally from the native americans point of view and then proceeded to destriy them with sickness and by killing. Those that survived were driven continuously across the land until finally they were put on the most undesirable places in the country which are the current reservations. And people now are whining that illegals from south of the border are coming in and taking over, funny if you ask me!

Are you suggesting that all countries have no borders? That no nation on Earth should have sovereignity? That there be no nationalities and people can come and go to different countries at will to live, work, or be on that countries welfare....whichever they choose?

Illegal immigrants have the same rights as any other group of lawbreakers.

I have asked the poster in question - on the boards, and through DM's, why she refuses to answer certain questions - like the one you raised. She has, essentially indicated that she sees no need to -
The fact is, those taken into custody (illegals) ARE treated with respect - their medical needs are met. They are clothed - housed - fed. They are kept in clean and sanitary enviornments. Their transportation is also clean and safe.
