Reform is just a code word for amnesty. We certainly don't need that again. Those already here should be deported as they make themselves known and remove all of the incentives for them to remain here that sufficiently addresses that problem.

If you have a portion of your population who are in constant fear of all law enforcement, that means they wont come forward when they're victims, or witnesses, or in actual fear for their lives. Women who are beaten or raped stay silent. Witnesses or victims of assault or robbery disappear or "forget". All these things undermine the local city as a whole. The cities are absolutely working in their own best interests to try and hold things together for their entire populations.
Exactly, and this makes it less safe for the rest of us. People have turned this into something that is designed to protect illegals, but it's really to protect us from the danger of people not reporting serious criminals.

Right, and then we wouldn't have to give money, or food to backwards, drug addicted states like Georgia. I can 100% guarette you own more things related to California than vice versa.

He's also raising the age for illegal aliens to get coverage from 19 to 26:

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...s-health-care/

Hours after assuming office, Mr. Newsom released sweeping health care proposals to raise the age limit for illegal aliens covered by Medi-Cal from 19 to 26, which would make California “the first state in the nation to cover young undocumented adults through a state Medicaid program,” according to a Monday release from the governor’s office.

In my view, this man should be locked up for misuse of public funds.

Of course people are taking such risks to cross the border when there is so much free stuff waiting for them here. This isn't rocket science. The Democrats have created this issue 100%.

Gavin Newsom should be in prison for treason. He should be held responsible for anyone harmed in any way by an illegal alien. He is a traitor.

California has the highest rate of those 25 and over without a high school diploma. Talk about a backwards uneducated state. Also the highest rate of Welfare recipients. Do your homework. Hahaha.....

There are no cities, states, or municipalities that are going to grill a victim about their immigration status and then call ICE on them.

We never grilled them but when they couldn't produce any kind of identification we asked about their status. If you showed me a valid drivers license or identification card from Mexico then that's as far as it went. The issue is when their is no way to identity someone wether they be a victim, witness or suspect.

The only time we called ICE was when we had a suspect in a violent crime or if they had an active warrant.

We wouldn't have sanctuary cities or states if

-- the United States processed citizenship and naturalization applications in a timely manner
-- the United States had a pathway to citizenship for illegals (yes, that means amnesty)
-- the United States had a pathway to citizenship for the Dreamers

We have illegals because we make it nearly impossible to become a citizen "the right way."
