80% of people seeking asylum are denied by a judge, most of which are Mexicans and Haitians. Don't like it, change the rules.

Exactly. That's the point. They can't just jump the border and immigrate to the US without first applying for immigration or asylum.

Close the southern border off to everything and everyone but verified international trade transportation or those with verified work visas. Require all foreigners to enter via airports or seaports, where they must submit a passport from their home country for entry into the US. The benefit of doing so is that we now have a documented identity for each alien, instead of them presenting at the southern border claiming they have no ID or documentation and saying whatever the hell they want as to who and how old they are. Track every alien admitted at an airport/seaport. If they overstay their visa, etc., deport them.

This.

They bring their children to use as human shields against detention/immediate deportation and they know they will be released relatively quickly. A significant percentage of them fitted with ankle monitors cut those monitors off within hours of being released. They know they can melt into the country and will most likely never be caught and/or deported, and even if they ARE arrested there's a SJW army ready to defend them in the press.

It's insane.

This country has lost its mind.

Exactly. You just need to present a valid passport (and a valid visa, depending on one's country of origin) to board an international flight.
