Absolutely NOT, ocexpo!

The mere fact that an Illegal has snubbed his nose at our sovereign borders, our immigration laws and, in most cases, our Border Patrol Agents while entering this country . . . they deserve NO RESPECT whatsoever.

I have no respect for them if they are committing fraud and thinking paying a mordida of some kind makes up for it -- although I doubt many or any voluntarily pay any tax.

If they steal a social security number, commit identity theft or felony document fraud, it's assumed they may pay some kind of tax but that assumes the employer isn't pocketing that money but actually sending it in -- and there's no reason to believe many do.

I agree with you. Although I can somewhat respect the effort, the fact is that they still broke the law. It is like robbing someone, and buying them a new car the next day. Does that make it right? No. Does that make them more respectable? No.

No they do still other people ID and SS# I no because it was done to me, I get NOTICES from IRS ever year. Then they make money in the US and send it back to the country they hate so much. And every time I tell the IRS they don't care, BUT when money is owed to IRS they will Care! And it doesn't matter how many times a question is asked are how the question is put, this is US and we have the right to ask as many time as we chose! Don't mean people don't have to answer are even read it! I was born in the US and if I break the law I have to pay/go to jail.....WHY NOT PEOPLE WHO BREAK THE LAW DAILY AND NO NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPENED, UNFAIR TO PEOPLE BORN IN THE US!
Don't mean you have to answer!
Also I am a strong believer in knowing the language of US ENGLISH, if I moved to another country I would have to learn! born in the USA break the law we have to pay WHY not them? That is part of being here in the USA!

I hate to blow up on a forum, but what kind of hypocrite are you?
What makes you better? Being born here?

If you still have problems with a law abiding person who pays taxes for hospitals, streets, cops, and even the agencies that has the job of deporting them..then you have some serious hate issues.

Get off your pedestal. The ignorance of some people is frustrating.

People can be legitimately concerned about the problems associated with illegal immigration, but a position like yours is based on a superiority complex and hate of a group you don't under stand.

They dont send it to the country, they send it to their families. If the country spends it buying food in the country, then so what.

Beside, the typical illegal immigrant makes crap.

After paying rent and buying food, they are only able to send out a fraction of crap.

Lets say..a few hundred dollars or so? If that much.

Hows that different than American people buying foreign products?

That money goes to other countries right? And i bet its a lot more than the chump change the immigrants are able to send out to their loved ones. And the families back home arent spending that money on Japanese cars, or Italian handbags...no theyre spending it on food. and clothing.

The fact is they are still fundamentally illegal whether they do a good deed or not. Come legally, thats all I ask.

Exactly, ocexpo . . . same as being hungry does not justify stealing food.

There is always a legal or proper way to achieve a goal.

Ocexpo and Bummer,

Curious. How has illegal immigration affected you. You use the simile of them robbing you(coming to america), and then buying you a new car(helping pay for your hospitals, police, roads, etc).

So how has illegal immigration ruined your life?
