The firm's three owners, a top executive and the owner of the staffing firm face criminal charges for orchestrating the scheme. All five pleaded guilty late last year and face prison time.

Hopefully $3MM is about 6 years of profits + exec compensation, and will

1. either a)make sure they never do this again or b) cripple them so they have to get bought by some legitimate outfit

2. serve as a real warning to other employers in that area of TX that continuing to employ illegals just isn't worth the consequences.

What we need is e-verify mandated as the employers don't always know one is an illegal when they present authentic looking fake or stolen documents. It has to be proven that they "knowingly" hired illegal aliens.

I live in the DFW area and this doesn't surprise me one bit. This area is teeming with illegals.
