Feel bad for her and the baby, but there's a reason why you don't climb those things.

Possibly a Darwin winner, but didn't want to trigger anyone.

A 19-year-old pregnant woman from Guatemala died this week from injuries suffered when she fell trying to climb the U.S. border wall near El Paso, Texas, U.S. and Guatemalan authorities said Thursday.

Guatemala identified the woman as Mirian Stephany Girón Luna. Medical personnel tried to deliver her baby, but were unsuccessful, both governments said. The U.S. said Girón was eight months pregnant, while Guatemalan authorities said she was at seven months.

From the article she fell 19 feet. To my knowledge the walls that Trump is building are 30 feet tall so she must have fell over one of the old walls. Hopefully those taller walls will help prevent future deaths from falls as they will be much harder to scale.

She would have been safer in Mexico where the virus is not spreading rapidly.

RIP

Most criminals are safer when they aren't breaking laws.

No one ever said crime was a safe business.

We all know you are happy this young woman and her child died.

In the end this wall will probably end up protecting Mexico.

Yes, desperate. Well fed, well clothed, and with a lot of cash to reach that goal several thousand miles up to the land where the roads are paved with even more cash.

RIP.

I am never happy to read about someone's death. That said, the woman and her unborn child would have been safer had they remained in Mexico.

She took a risk for a better life, and paid the ultimate price.

I know that some will say that this is a sign that we need to improve our immigration system. But I say that its a sign that people should follow the law and not try to illegally cross into our country.
